Smooth setup, useful features

I ordered an 800 Number with their Call Forwarding service. The ordering process was straightforward on their website. Activation took about 24 hours, which was fine. I also added Business SMS and the Mobile App Access, and both have been working as expected. I had a quick question about setting up the IVR Auto Attendant, and their support got back to me pretty fast with clear instructions. The call quality has been consistent, and the analytics dashboard is helpful for tracking calls.

Easy to get a number

Needed a new number for my side gig, so I checked out 800.com. Got an 888 Number, and it was super easy. No drama, just picked it and got it set up. It's forwarding calls to my cell phone just like I wanted. Pretty good experience overall.

Solid service, minor app issue

I signed up for a Local Business Number with Call Tracking and Business SMS. The setup was efficient, and the call quality has been excellent. I found the Call Analytics useful for understanding my traffic. My only small gripe is that the Mobile App Access can be a bit slow to load sometimes, but it's not a dealbreaker. Overall, a good experience and it serves its purpose well for my small business.

Love my new number!

This is great! I just got a Vanity Toll-Free Number and it was so easy to pick out. The setup was quick, and the Call Forwarding works perfectly. My customers are already using it. I'm telling everyone in my network about this service. Can't wait to explore more features!

Consistent service as always

This is my third number from 800.com, this time an 877 Number for a new project. I've used them for a couple of years now for Call Forwarding and Voicemail to Email. Their service has always been reliable. This order was just as smooth as the previous ones, no surprises. Good to know I can count on them for my business communication needs.

Good value with annual plan

I was looking for a new business number and saw they had a 15% off annual plan. It made a real difference in the overall cost. I got a Local Business Number set up with Call Forwarding and it feels like a solid deal for what I paid. Definitely worth it.

how long does it typically take to get a new 800.com number up and running after I sign up?

B Ben 1 month ago
It was pretty quick for me. I think my new number was active within an hour or two. Not much waiting around.

Activation time is usually pretty fast. If you're porting an existing number, that might take a little longer, like a few days to a week sometimes, but a brand new one is almost instant in my experience.

how does 800.com compare to Grasshopper? Looking for something reliable but not too pricy.

M Megan 1 month ago
I've used both. 800.com has pretty similar features and I found their analytics to be a bit more user-friendly. Price-wise, they're both in the same ballpark, but sometimes 800.com has better deals on annual plans.

Grasshopper is good, but 800.com feels more robust for businesses that might grow. The call tracking and recording features on 800.com are excellent. Both are legitimate, really just comes down to specific feature preference and pricing on the day you sign up, I guess.

Can I use my current business number with 800.com, or do I have to get a new one through them?

A Andre D. 1 month ago
Yeah, you can totally port your existing number over. I did that with my local business line last year, it was pretty straightforward.

They offer number porting. I'm not 100% on the exact process, but I remember seeing that as an option when I signed up. Saves a lot of hassle.

Thinking about getting an 800 number for my small business, but wondering about the cost. Is it super expensive?

D Dana H. 2 months ago
Nah, it's not bad. They have different plans depending on what features you need. I'd check out their site for specifics but it's pretty competitive.

You can find pricing tiers on their site, it's pretty transparent. And if you pay yearly instead of monthly, you save a decent chunk. I think it was like 15-20% off for annual plans.
